“Nice and friendly hotel at the Dingle Way”
"We stayed for one night during our walk on the Dingle Way. The room was nice, the couple, who runs the hotel, too. There is also a pizza restaurant in the house. They are very good. The breakfast was rich.
And the best things for all walkers: They transfer your luggage to your next stay for only a few Euros. Very good idea! So it's much easier to walk! " - Date of review: 4 Jan 2011
“Extremely pleasant stay”
"The room was very clean and quiet. It was spartan but very adequate and comfortable. The proprietors were gracious and the breakfast was lovely and tasty. The breakfast room was beautiful, tasteful and well-appointed. We hope that in the near-future, they will be able to accept credit cards. We would definitely recommend this darling Inn to anyone." - Date of review: 11 Nov 2010
“Perfect, clean, and mints!”
"Please, travel around Ireland in daytime. We were about finding this place and getting into Dingle from it because we had no sense of where we were. But this hostel is perfect to me, clean, comfy, lounge area tons of movies, books, games. Brian is easy going and a great chef. The fruit was very nice for breakfast and this place was clean. He also provided soap (thank goodness)!
We came in late so went into Dingle "town" for dinner which was great. I wouldn't drink to much though if driving back to hostel on the dark roads. Thanks Brian!" - Date of review: 2 Nov 2010
“What a compliment to Ireland's hospitality! Calgary Girls Favorite.”
"We had a three night stay and wish it was longer. Beautiful surroundings for hiking, beers at the South Pole Inn, many happy memories. Exellent food prepared by Brian and B. Would love to come back. Dale." - Date of review: 21 Oct 2010
“Staying on Dingle Peninsula? Stay at The Old Anchor Inn”
"We have just completed a 6 month period of travelling and one of our best stops was at The Old Anchor Inn at Anascaul. The rooms are clean, tidy and roomy. The breakfast is wonderful and the welcome you receive is great. Brian is a great host and his advice and knowledge enhanced our stay. Make sure to visit The South Pole for a lovely atmosphere.
If you're planning to visit The Dingle Peninsula and like us don't want to stay in the hustle and bustle of Dingle itself, then stay at The Old Anchor Inn." - Date of review: 15 Oct 2010
“Lovely place, great food, good value.”
"We really enjoyed our stay. The location was very convenient, within walking distance of a few pubs. The food and lodging was top class and great value for money. Our host could not have been more friendly and helpful." - Date of review: 2 Oct 2010
